Hello, I'm Barely Adequate Bakery.

A home economics class in High School back in the 2000-2001 school year introduced me to the world of Banana Bread. 16 year-old-me was so excited to be able to make a bakery item that looked good and tasted fantastic. I took my hand-written recipe card, bought a recipe card box and tucked it away for a later date. I made the High School banana bread for friends and family, receiving a number of compliments. I started playing with the base recipe over the years until I thought it was perfect. This was the birth of the Cinnamon Banana Bread. I decided to make my Cinnamon Banana Bread for family as individual gifts for Christmas to test if others thought it was as amazing as I did. 14 gifted Banana Breads later and I knew I created magic. My family no longer wants gifts for Christmas and ask me if I'm going to be making them again this year. As my family is aging and getting smaller, my joy (and flavos) of making the breads have grown. I need to keep sharing my bread with others - as odd as that sounds - so I decided to move into the Cottage Bakery scene to keep my recipe alive and well!
