Hello, I'm Sweet Marie's Auspicious Confections (SMACs) Cottage Bakery.

I am a librarian​,​ music pastor's wife​,​ proud mother of two amazing young men and one precious daughter-in-law​,​ and smitten Honey to our first grandchild. I have baked sweet treats for family​,​ friends​,​ and coworkers for over 25 years. I believe the time and effort spent creating confections uniquely suited to their recipients is a very special personal gift. The blessings are baked in - which is why I added the word "auspicious" to the name of my cottage baking endeavor. "Marie" is my middle name that was passed to me through four previous generations of French ancestors on my father's side. I adopted the acronym "SMACs" with the intent that my creations will be so good they'll make you want to smack your lips!
