Hello, I'm Mya.

My name is Mya and I am a sophmore at Waukee High School and am involved in many activities such as wrestling​,​ gymnastics​,​ track​,​ cross country​,​ and church activities. Although I am heavily involved​,​ I have found many hobbies such as baking and making bracelets outside of these things that I like! Because of this​,​ I wants to share my passion for these things with my friends​,​ family​,​ and people in Des Moines. That is where "Made by Mya" came into place. It all started the winter of 2020 when me and my friend started selling hot cocoa bombs. These are super popular and we had a great turnout. That being said​,​ I had a great idea in the summer of 2021 after Covid-19 was dying down to start selling them again that winter. In addition​,​ I created my own bakery called "Myas Sweet Creations". This was a big step for me creating my own menu​,​ facebook page​,​ order form​,​ etc. and took a lot of hard work. I ABSOLUTELY loved baking for my customers and although it wasn't super popular​,​ that made baking even more special. I like making things​/​gifting whether it is Christmas gifts or a loaf of sourdough bread for my neighbors. Seeing the joy on their faces being grateful for their item makes my day and even though that had to end because I joined Junior Olympic gymnastics and didn't have enough time for it​,​ I am back and ready to start a new chapter of my business. This year​,​ I am starting "Made by Mya" and am selling sourdough starter and bakery items! I have expiremented a lot with each one of these things and they will all be made with love​,​ hence​,​ "Made by Mya!" I hope you can support me as I start and continue to grow. Everything I make is one of a kind and made personally​,​ by me!
